I'm one of those people who carefully reads every card they receive and saves them. No lie, I think I probably still have just about every card I've ever received ... and then some. I don't know what I plan to do with them, even though I have included some of the cards we got for our wedding in our wedding scrapbook, but I just can't seem to let them go.
And, then there are those people on the opposite side of the spectrum - like my sister. I have quit making her cards because I told her once that I didn't get her card made, and I would mail it to her. She told me not to bother as she would just throw it away. I suppose I should have made and sent her one anyway, to maybe give her at least a moment of joy, but I didn't want to after that remark.
I'm also one of those people who will spend a very long time reading every card in the store, or looking through my stash, looking for just the perfect card. Sometimes I find it, and sometimes I settle for something that I suppose will work. Graduation cards are some of my favorite cards to make ... especially when I know that the graduates will appreciate a special card - one that isn't the same as every other card they receive. And I don't seem to have any problems making these cards perfect, in my opinion!
Last year, I made some graduation cards for a friend, and she said she got quite a few compliments about how they were the neatest cards the graduates received. Yay!
These are a few of the cards I've made so far this year. I wish I would have taken pictures of the cards I made last year too, but I guess I'll just have to make them again.
If you need me to make some cards for you or show you how to, I'd be more than happy to help. If you're just looking for a couple, visit B Inspired! and look at the selection I have for sale there. These are some of them.
All of these cards were made using the directions from the Originals Card Confidence Program and the Wishes Card Confidence Program from Close to My Heart.
The first card uses the You Rock Level 2 Paper Pack and the You Did It My Acrylix Stamp Set. On the inside, I used the retired Follow Your Dreams stamp set and an additional stamp from another company.
The second card again uses the You Rock Level 2 Paper Pack and You Did It stamp set. It also uses the Family Ties-Children, Dainty Thoughts and For Every Occasion stamp sets. I love making this card, as it looks like a chalkboard; and I think the stamped image of the girl with the cell phone is probably a perfect image for a high school senior today - there are also some cards I've made using a boy's image. And some are personalized for the local high school, which is also why I used gold and green. I could personalize it for any school! For the sentiment inside, I again used Follow Your Dreams. That stamp set is perfect for graduation cards!
Here are some different color options for all the cards. See all of them at B Inspired! or call me to special order yours today! Click on these pictures to see a larger, more clear image!

The third card is a money card using the Emporium Level 2 Paper Pack, and again You Did It and Follow Your Dreams stamp sets. The "Congratulations Graduate" was from another stamp I have.
