"Howdy Neighbor!"

Howdy y'all!
I don't really have anything creative to share with you today, even though I might later in the today. Today, I am off to our monthly Close to My Heart meeting. I find them so much fun that I try to put it in my schedule each month. Every month, a fellow consultant shows us how to make a project, and today we're going to make May Day baskets. If I can figure out how to make them easily enough, I will post some directions and pictures after the meeting (probably tomorrow as the meeting is an all afternoon thing, culminating with supper with some of my CTMH friends)!
I'm really excited about today as I will get to put my hands on our new Summer Idea Book (set to come out in May for customers) for the first time. I have looked at it online already, and I think, seen most of the new products, but it's just not the same as holding it in your hands and seeing close-up each new product! If you can't already tell, I'm so excited!
Maybe when I return from the meeting I'll share one of our new paper packs with you.
I will tell you, though, that right now, it's looking like my favorite new product is a stamp set called "Howdy!" Maybe it's the farm girl in me (even though most of you probably wouldn't guess I came from a farm, as I'm not exactly an outdoorsy person) ... but I love this stamp set. I can't wait to make some cards from it! As another little teaser: "Hay there!"
Some consultants sell the Idea Books, but we offer them free to anybody who makes any kind of purchase. And your purchase could be from the new Idea Book, available May 1. Contact me today to get your Idea Book!

New products are fast approaching!

Hey there blog readers! I'm so sorry I've been so lax about posting to my blog lately - it's been a crazy month! There has been a trip to Chicago for Pampered Chef national conference - it was amazing! Also in there was the Close to My Heart national conference, which I didn't attend, but I've still got the excitement brewing from all the new product and changes! And a booth for the local Lone Tree Days celebration over the Fourth of July, along with a cousin's Pampered Chef bridal shower ... and more! So, anyway, sorry I didn't post. I had lots of good intentions; and I even got some projects done, but not sure what happened to all my time.    I plan on finding some of those pictures and uploading them soon. Also, I plan on heading downstairs to scrapbook soon - so maybe I'll have some of those pictures to share.    I'm not supposed to share any of the new products before the catalog goes live to customers, but if you contact me, I might give y...

Constantly looking for one place to store all your important dates?

How many of you have all kinds of important dates running through your head, like birthdays and anniversaries, that you know you are bound to forget? I know I do ... and have. I can remember the random birthday of a college friend's brother or a high school class mate that I haven't really talked to since high school, but I can't remember my sister-in-law's or many of my best friends' special days, and even after only three years of marriage, I'll admit I've even once spaced off my own anniversary and scheduled a Pampered Chef show (it isn't always the husbands who do this!) I've tried storing these dates in different places: I've made an altered rolodex for that purpose, but I never filled it out; I've also used - and even made my own - card book. The one I got for high school graduation, I filled in all the dates, but at this point in time, I can't tell you where the book is. The one I made myself, I don't know if I even filled i...
