E-mail notices

   Good morning!
This morning I signed ten of you up to receive alerts whenever I put a new post on my blog. If you don't want to receive those alerts, please let me know. I just knew a few of you had looked at the blog, and wanted to give you the opportunity to see my new posts first.
Thank you for reading my blog! If you ever have an idea for a post, please let me know ... some are harder than others to come up with!
If you did not get an e-mail saying this post had been posted and would like to receive one, please let me know.
   Happy Wednesday!

P.S. I did some scrapbooking last night, but didn't take any pictures. I completed all but putting the pictures on a two-page layout of Topstitch, so I will post that once I get it fully completed. I did some hand-stitching on that page; I loved it! I will try to post about that at some point! One more thing to cross off my list!!

My attempts at photo editing sites ...

Hey there blog readers! I know, I know, I was supposed to be posting more regularly ... I'm sorry. But my garage sale is done, so that means I should have more time to post, right? The reason I am posting today is for that Nebraska Learns class I talked about at the beginning of the month. Nothing like procrastinating - today is the last day I can complete it! ;) I am actually really enjoying this first "assignment." Our assignment was to play with photo editing sites. For my scrapbooking friends out there, I'm thinking this could do wonders for your already wonderful pages! As I was working on my second picture, I had an idea. There are many pictures - like that particular one - that I'd like to include in my scrapbook, but can't make myself create a whole page for a picture of a flower ... but can you imagine putting this photo of the flower on it? I can. How much cooler would that make the page? I could talk about where I was and why I took the pictu...

Happy May Day! Pampered Chef style!

Today - May 1 - marks the beginning of two important things; both in Close to My Heart and The Pampered Chef.    I will make two separate posts so as not to confuse or undermine the importance for each company. Today's post will focus on The Pampered Chef. Check tomorrow or Monday to find out what's so special about May for Close to My Heart.    For The Pampered Chef, May 1 marks the 11th year of our Help With Cancer campaign. Since 2000, The Pampered Chef has donated more than $7.9 million dollars to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer education and early detection programs!    Just for the month of May, The Pampered Chef has five exclusive pink products available for purchase. For each item purchased, The Pampered Chef will donate $1 to the American Cancer Society.
