   Guess what!?! You're not going to believe it! I FINALLY got my 25 cards finished from that 25-card workshop I started oh so long ago. Yay!    Once I decided what to do with them, it was actually quite easy. I used the May Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart .    Each month, the company releases a stamp set that is only available during that month. With another purchase, you can also qualify for a discount - anywhere from 25% off to 100% off, that's right, FREE - on that exclusive stamp set. Cards for Soldiers B Inspired! ~ Saturday, May 22 ~ 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.    Please join me in making cards for soldiers in Afghanistan. Cards will be sent in care packages and can be blank for the soldiers to send back or thank you cards directly for the soldiers.    A fellow CTMH consultant's husband was recently sent to Afghanistan - I mail these cards to her, and she includes them in the care packages she sends to her husband and fellow soldiers. But if you know of a local soldier, I'd love to give you some cards to mail to him/her too.   Last time, I mailed almost 200 cards for the soldiers! I'd love to make this a regular event.   For this event, I will supply all the paper for making the cards. Please bring your own cutters, tools and adhesive, if possible.    I'm sitting here trying to motivate myself to go work out - not sure how typing on my blog is supposed to do that, but I have high hopes.    As soon as I get done working out, I have big plans to go downstairs to my crafting "cave," as my husband loves to call it, and finish the 25 cards I started at my Close to My Heart meeting on Saturday, and maybe even make 25 more before I have to go to work. I know that sounds ambitious, but actually, I have a handy dandy workshop that someone in CTMH has designed that makes it super quick!   You  may think that 50 cards sounds like a lot, and I would agree that it does, but ironically enough, with all the cards I make for others and to sell at B Inspired!, I don't have any stock of my own. And even after I make up this stock I probably won't want to use them because I am of the mind that for each person's birthday/anniversary/graduation/etc. I need to make a special card just for them.
