Cards for Soldiers at B Inspired! in downtown Central City Saturday, July 3 as part of the annual Lone Tree Days celebration 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please join me in making cards for the soldiers overseas who are fighting to protect our freedom! Without the brave, this would not be the home of the free! Cards will first be sent to local soldiers. If you have any names/addresses of local soldiers, please bring them to the event or get them to me or the Central City Area Chamber of Commerce. Any leftover cards will be sent in care packages to soldiers serving in Afghanistan. The Chamber will provide the postage. Make one card or make a dozen! All paper and adhesive will be provided by the Chamber and me. If you plan on making multiple cards, please feel free to bring your own cutter and/or tools. Good morning! Just wanted to let you know that the Cards for Soldiers event has been postponed. If you were planning on making cards by yourself and donating them, I will still take the donations. Cards for Soldiers B Inspired! ~ Saturday, May 22 ~ 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.    Please join me in making cards for soldiers in Afghanistan. Cards will be sent in care packages and can be blank for the soldiers to send back or thank you cards directly for the soldiers.    A fellow CTMH consultant's husband was recently sent to Afghanistan - I mail these cards to her, and she includes them in the care packages she sends to her husband and fellow soldiers. But if you know of a local soldier, I'd love to give you some cards to mail to him/her too.   Last time, I mailed almost 200 cards for the soldiers! I'd love to make this a regular event.   For this event, I will supply all the paper for making the cards. Please bring your own cutters, tools and adhesive, if possible.   I've got a couple of ideas for you for graduation gifts. This is one of them!   I was planning on giving these to graduates this year, but my husband is a teacher and wants to give something to 20 students - I'm not making 20 of these! I'm making a different gift for my cousin and sister-in-law. I will post it when I get it completed!   Anyway, this is my idea right now. It's what I call a scrapbook-in-a-box. You can make them for any topic, in any color scheme and there are actually different design options.   There are two different designs here. The majority of them are a one-page box.    the last couple of days i've been talking about making cards and a card organizer. some people just don't like to make their own cards or have no desire to do so.    if that's the case, that's just fine. visit B Inspired! and purchase some of the cards I (and my friend Judy) have made for you. if you don't see what you're looking for in our card display, we'll custom-make some for you!    don't live in the area? let me know what kinds of cards you need and i can make them and mail them to you!    i've posted the door display we have at B Inspired! and also some other cards i have made for your viewing (and copying) enjoyment!    some of these cards were made by cutting level 1 packets up ... they make simple cards look fabulous! can you tell which cards were made with the level 1 kits? happy thursday!
