May SOTM ... gotta love it!!

Guess what!?! You're not going to believe it! I FINALLY got my 25 cards finished from that 25-card workshop I started oh so long ago. Yay!
Once I decided what to do with them, it was actually quite easy. I used the May Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart.
Each month, the company releases a stamp set that is only available during that month. With another purchase, you can also qualify for a discount - anywhere from 25% off to 100% off, that's right, FREE - on that exclusive stamp set. Some of these sets may show up in the idea book at a later time, but most won't. Most are only available during that month.
May's stamp, Cherish the Moment, is wonderful! I love it! I knew as soon as I saw it that I could have some fun with it!

Don't you agree now that you've seen it? What an easy way to make cards for any occasion! I was actually able to use up some of my old embellishments and by using another couple of stamp sets (For Every Occasion and Made By Me, retired) I was done with my cards in no time!
Check out my pictures below! I used the Bella Level 2 Paper Pack. And scroll a little further down to see how I dressed up the insides of my cards. I wasn't sure what each card would be used for, since there are so many options, so I wanted to leave the inside relatively blank ... that doesn't mean you can't decorate it though! Don't be afraid to add a little pizzazz to the insides of your cards!
This stamp set is still available - but only for a couple more days - a different one will be available in June! Shop my Web site today to get yours. Place an order, and get either a 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% discount on your stamp! Just want the Cherish the Moment stamp set, order it for $22.95 plus shipping and handling! Don't want to visit my Web site, call or e-mail me to place your order before the end of May!
   Happy Wednesday!

A couple more cards I just made ... these are slightly more "manly!" But the stamp set still works!!

Constantly looking for one place to store all your important dates?

How many of you have all kinds of important dates running through your head, like birthdays and anniversaries, that you know you are bound to forget? I know I do ... and have. I can remember the random birthday of a college friend's brother or a high school class mate that I haven't really talked to since high school, but I can't remember my sister-in-law's or many of my best friends' special days, and even after only three years of marriage, I'll admit I've even once spaced off my own anniversary and scheduled a Pampered Chef show (it isn't always the husbands who do this!) I've tried storing these dates in different places: I've made an altered rolodex for that purpose, but I never filled it out; I've also used - and even made my own - card book. The one I got for high school graduation, I filled in all the dates, but at this point in time, I can't tell you where the book is. The one I made myself, I don't know if I even filled i...

My attempts at photo editing sites ...

Hey there blog readers! I know, I know, I was supposed to be posting more regularly ... I'm sorry. But my garage sale is done, so that means I should have more time to post, right? The reason I am posting today is for that Nebraska Learns class I talked about at the beginning of the month. Nothing like procrastinating - today is the last day I can complete it! ;) I am actually really enjoying this first "assignment." Our assignment was to play with photo editing sites. For my scrapbooking friends out there, I'm thinking this could do wonders for your already wonderful pages! As I was working on my second picture, I had an idea. There are many pictures - like that particular one - that I'd like to include in my scrapbook, but can't make myself create a whole page for a picture of a flower ... but can you imagine putting this photo of the flower on it? I can. How much cooler would that make the page? I could talk about where I was and why I took the pictu...
