Woo-hoo for new CTMH product!!

May for Close to My Heart means one very awesome thing - the Summer Idea Book is live for customers! Yay!
Each time we release a new idea book there are four new papers, countless stamps, embellishments and more. I don't have pictures of all of the new stuff, even though I do have pictures of the paper. To see the complete new Idea Book, click on the link above in this post or on the right of my page. To get your own "hard copy," contact me today! I give idea books free to anybody who makes a purchase. To just see the new product, follow the link above that mentions what's new and it will let you just see the new product!!

And, I am actually going to place an order from the new Idea Book at the end of this week? Gotta have some of this stuff? Contact me today!

Our four new papers are Cherry-O, Splendor, Zippidee and Passages. Imagine all the fun projects you can complete with these new paper packs. Rather than try to explain the exquisite details of each paper design, I'll let the pictures do the talking!! Click on the photos to see larger images.

I love all the new paper and have many ideas for each set already. But I really love the new Creative Basics collection for Cherry-O. Creative ideas just started popping into my head when I saw this paper! Our Creative Basics collections come with 12-16 coordinating sheets of paper (that are different than the ones available in Level 2 Paper Packets) and some matching ribbon - perfect for making a bunch of beautiful cards!!

And now for the beautiful new stamps. I mentioned in an earlier post, as a teaser, my favorite new stamp set. Now, I will show you a picture of Howdy. Actually there are two stamps sets that are kind of similar. The Howdy stamp set uses farm animals for sentiments; and You're Great uses wild animals. Check them both out!! If you make any cards, I'd love to see them!

For each new idea book, I go straight to the paper and stamps, and then I move on, thinking I won't be near as excited about the embellishments, tools and other accessories. This time, though, I'm just as excited about one of the additional new products - the My Creations Recipe/Photo Box. And, honestly, I don't think you should even stop there ... I've got plans to use it for a card box too. Wouldn't that be a fabulous gift? This little sturdy box filled with a set of cards? And what about for recipes with our new Cherry-O collection? Check out our Sugar & Spice Card Kit. Won't that look just perfect filled with all your favorite recipes? What about that as a gift for a new bride. All the family recipes in a beautifully decorated box!

What is your favorite new product? Tell me in a comment (with your name, so I know who the prize goes to) by the end of May to be entered into a drawing to win one of the new products absolutely free!!
   Happy Monday!

Constantly looking for one place to store all your important dates?

How many of you have all kinds of important dates running through your head, like birthdays and anniversaries, that you know you are bound to forget? I know I do ... and have. I can remember the random birthday of a college friend's brother or a high school class mate that I haven't really talked to since high school, but I can't remember my sister-in-law's or many of my best friends' special days, and even after only three years of marriage, I'll admit I've even once spaced off my own anniversary and scheduled a Pampered Chef show (it isn't always the husbands who do this!) I've tried storing these dates in different places: I've made an altered rolodex for that purpose, but I never filled it out; I've also used - and even made my own - card book. The one I got for high school graduation, I filled in all the dates, but at this point in time, I can't tell you where the book is. The one I made myself, I don't know if I even filled i

My attempts at photo editing sites ...

Hey there blog readers! I know, I know, I was supposed to be posting more regularly ... I'm sorry. But my garage sale is done, so that means I should have more time to post, right? The reason I am posting today is for that Nebraska Learns class I talked about at the beginning of the month. Nothing like procrastinating - today is the last day I can complete it! ;) I am actually really enjoying this first "assignment." Our assignment was to play with photo editing sites. For my scrapbooking friends out there, I'm thinking this could do wonders for your already wonderful pages! As I was working on my second picture, I had an idea. There are many pictures - like that particular one - that I'd like to include in my scrapbook, but can't make myself create a whole page for a picture of a flower ... but can you imagine putting this photo of the flower on it? I can. How much cooler would that make the page? I could talk about where I was and why I took the pictu
