To each and every mom out there, I hope this day is filled with joy, no work and being surrounded by all those you hold dear!
Happy Mother's Day!
Even though I don't think I got my creative side from my mother, I know there are many traits I did get. And I couldn't be more proud of that. She is the hardest working person I know and she never complains about all that is expected of her.
I hope that my future kids love and admire me as much as I do her. Thanks mom!
I used a new technique on my mother's (and mother-in-law's) card, watercoloring. It was awesome fun!! I will try to get a picture, but wanted to get this post up. (Sorry the picture quality is not better, I've already got it sealed in a clear envelope). I used the Simple Beauty stamp set and the retired Key to My Heart paper pack.
Happy Sunday!
watercolor technique: hopefully this card will help you. if not, please e-mail me or post a comment.
Needed: Waterbrush Medium: Avoid spills with the waterbrush. Fill the handle with water or other liquids, then use with inks, watercolor paints, chalks, or watercolor pencils for a soft, muted look. Instructions included on package and Watercolor Pencils.
