Making Cards for Soldiers

Cards for Soldiers
B Inspired! ~ Saturday, May 22 ~ 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Please join me in making cards for soldiers in Afghanistan. Cards will be sent in care packages and can be blank for the soldiers to send back or thank you cards directly for the soldiers.
A fellow CTMH consultant's husband was recently sent to Afghanistan - I mail these cards to her, and she includes them in the care packages she sends to her husband and fellow soldiers. But if you know of a local soldier, I'd love to give you some cards to mail to him/her too.
Last time, I mailed almost 200 cards for the soldiers! I'd love to make this a regular event.
For this event, I will supply all the paper for making the cards. Please bring your own cutters, tools and adhesive, if possible. I will also have a Cricut, stamps, inks, texture tools and more CTMH products available for use.
Cards can be made anyway your creative powers take you, but keep in mind that if they are cards the  soldiers are mailing back, it would be nice for them to only have to use a regular postage stamp (not square cards or not too bulky cards). Also, if they are not the following size, please provide your own envelopes. All the cards I sent before were 4.25x5.5 inches.
I will have instructions there for the 25-card workshop if you'd like to crank out a whole bunch of cards! You don't have to stay for the whole time - come for a few minutes to make a couple cards or a few hours to make a whole bunch of cards!
If you can't make it to the scheduled event, please let me know. You can make cards on your own and mail them to me or we can arrange a time to meet. But just let me know by the 22nd that they are coming so I know to wait for them.

New products are fast approaching!

Hey there blog readers! I'm so sorry I've been so lax about posting to my blog lately - it's been a crazy month! There has been a trip to Chicago for Pampered Chef national conference - it was amazing! Also in there was the Close to My Heart national conference, which I didn't attend, but I've still got the excitement brewing from all the new product and changes! And a booth for the local Lone Tree Days celebration over the Fourth of July, along with a cousin's Pampered Chef bridal shower ... and more! So, anyway, sorry I didn't post. I had lots of good intentions; and I even got some projects done, but not sure what happened to all my time.    I plan on finding some of those pictures and uploading them soon. Also, I plan on heading downstairs to scrapbook soon - so maybe I'll have some of those pictures to share.    I'm not supposed to share any of the new products before the catalog goes live to customers, but if you contact me, I might give y...

Constantly looking for one place to store all your important dates?

How many of you have all kinds of important dates running through your head, like birthdays and anniversaries, that you know you are bound to forget? I know I do ... and have. I can remember the random birthday of a college friend's brother or a high school class mate that I haven't really talked to since high school, but I can't remember my sister-in-law's or many of my best friends' special days, and even after only three years of marriage, I'll admit I've even once spaced off my own anniversary and scheduled a Pampered Chef show (it isn't always the husbands who do this!) I've tried storing these dates in different places: I've made an altered rolodex for that purpose, but I never filled it out; I've also used - and even made my own - card book. The one I got for high school graduation, I filled in all the dates, but at this point in time, I can't tell you where the book is. The one I made myself, I don't know if I even filled i...
