A few more photos ...

So, tomorrow is my fourth wedding anniversary! And instead of being downstairs making my husband a one-of-a-kind card, I'm sitting here watching TV and typing on my blog. Hey, I still have a good seven hours before it's tomorrow!
We actually decided to not do gifts this year - so I'm off the hook for that part. It's really sad, but even though I am so good with dates and numbers and remembering the birthday of a college friend's younger brother, I have issues remembering my anniversary. Our first anniversary, I had a Pampered Chef show and totallly spaced it off. And actually, tomorrow, I will be driving to Broken Bow after work for a benefit for my aunt and uncle. The plan was to buy ourselves a bigger TV, but right now, it might actually turn into new gutters or a new microwave. Maybe we'll celebrate this weekend, even though I have plans to scrapbook and I think my dear husband has plans to go to a race. Oh, well! I'm a scrapbooker, so I get a present everytime I get a box from Close to My Heart!! And this way, I get exactly what I want!!
So, I don't have any new projects to show you right now, but I plan to get some completed this weekend.
I do have some pictures, though. The first one is a name frame that my friend Morgan made last week. I wasn't sure what it would look like when she picked out her paper, but I really like it. She's quite talented! And I think she's going to take after her mom with her love of scrapbooking!
I think we're actually going to make these at our CTMH meeting next month, so I'm excited to see that. I have a couple of friends who started making some at my house a couple weeks ago, but I haven't heard back from them on whether or not they have been completed!

This is another My Creations Memory Keeper that I decorated for a customer who wanted it for a wedding gift. I thought it turned out really awesome! I am definitely going to have to make one for myself now. I used the Key to My Heart stamp set from Close to My Heart and an image from A Child's Year cricut cartridge. And then I sponged the sides of the box.
I'd love to help you make either of the above projects; I think I've even got a couple of ladies interested after they helped with the 4-H workshops. Just let me know if you're interested!
   Happy Wednesday!

Constantly looking for one place to store all your important dates?

How many of you have all kinds of important dates running through your head, like birthdays and anniversaries, that you know you are bound to forget? I know I do ... and have. I can remember the random birthday of a college friend's brother or a high school class mate that I haven't really talked to since high school, but I can't remember my sister-in-law's or many of my best friends' special days, and even after only three years of marriage, I'll admit I've even once spaced off my own anniversary and scheduled a Pampered Chef show (it isn't always the husbands who do this!) I've tried storing these dates in different places: I've made an altered rolodex for that purpose, but I never filled it out; I've also used - and even made my own - card book. The one I got for high school graduation, I filled in all the dates, but at this point in time, I can't tell you where the book is. The one I made myself, I don't know if I even filled i...

My attempts at photo editing sites ...

Hey there blog readers! I know, I know, I was supposed to be posting more regularly ... I'm sorry. But my garage sale is done, so that means I should have more time to post, right? The reason I am posting today is for that Nebraska Learns class I talked about at the beginning of the month. Nothing like procrastinating - today is the last day I can complete it! ;) I am actually really enjoying this first "assignment." Our assignment was to play with photo editing sites. For my scrapbooking friends out there, I'm thinking this could do wonders for your already wonderful pages! As I was working on my second picture, I had an idea. There are many pictures - like that particular one - that I'd like to include in my scrapbook, but can't make myself create a whole page for a picture of a flower ... but can you imagine putting this photo of the flower on it? I can. How much cooler would that make the page? I could talk about where I was and why I took the pictu...
