My attempts at photo editing sites ...

Hey there blog readers! I know, I know, I was supposed to be posting more regularly ... I'm sorry. But my garage sale is done, so that means I should have more time to post, right? The reason I am posting today is for that Nebraska Learns class I talked about at the beginning of the month. Nothing like procrastinating - today is the last day I can complete it! ;) I am actually really enjoying this first "assignment." Our assignment was to play with photo editing sites. For my scrapbooking friends out there, I'm thinking this could do wonders for your already wonderful pages! As I was working on my second picture, I had an idea. There are many pictures - like that particular one - that I'd like to include in my scrapbook, but can't make myself create a whole page for a picture of a flower ... but can you imagine putting this photo of the flower on it? I can. How much cooler would that make the page? I could talk about where I was and why I took the pictu

Nebraska Learns 2.0

I am signing up for the Nebraska Learns 2.0 online learning program. To complete it, I will be posting on my blog once a month about different activities I am completing. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. The program was designed for people connected with libraries to participate in, but if you are interested, you can still participate. Find out more information by visiting http://nelearns.blogspot.com/ The goal of the program is to encourage participants to experiment with and learn about the new and emerging technologies that are reshaping the way people, society and libraries access information and communicate with each other. I am very excited to participate in this program. The first project is about playing with online photo editing sites! I can't wait to learn new things that I know I will be able to make use of especially in my scrapbooking! The prerequisite for enrolling in the course was to watch a short presentation about the 7 1/2 Habits of

New products are fast approaching!

Hey there blog readers! I'm so sorry I've been so lax about posting to my blog lately - it's been a crazy month! There has been a trip to Chicago for Pampered Chef national conference - it was amazing! Also in there was the Close to My Heart national conference, which I didn't attend, but I've still got the excitement brewing from all the new product and changes! And a booth for the local Lone Tree Days celebration over the Fourth of July, along with a cousin's Pampered Chef bridal shower ... and more! So, anyway, sorry I didn't post. I had lots of good intentions; and I even got some projects done, but not sure what happened to all my time.    I plan on finding some of those pictures and uploading them soon. Also, I plan on heading downstairs to scrapbook soon - so maybe I'll have some of those pictures to share.    I'm not supposed to share any of the new products before the catalog goes live to customers, but if you contact me, I might give y
